CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS SCHEDULES CHANGES Schedules can be altered due to any force majeure cases which prevent safe sailing, or due to any other cause. In order for us to notify passengers of any eventual changes, we need you to provide your mobile phone and email address when making your reservation. However, at all our Maritime Stations we can inform you about arrivals and departures of ships with routes starting or ending in such port. CANCELLATION OF RESERVATIONS AND TICKETS Passengers can only cancel or postpone a ticket or reservation issued or made for an specific date subject to the following conditions: Express boats: , cancelling reservations and tickets shall result in a penalty of: 10% of the ticket amount if said cancellation or postponement is made within a period of 30 days to 48 hours prior to departure. 20% if the cancellation or postponement is made within a period of 48 hours to 2 hours prior to departure. Conventional services,shall result in a penalty of: 10 % of the ticket amount if said cancellation or postponement is made within a period of 30 days to 10 days prior to departure. 20% if the cancellation or postponement is made within a period of 9 days to 2 days prior to departure. Cancelling the ticket once said periods have expired shall result in a penalty equal to the total amount of the ticket. If passengers wish to depart earlier or later, they can cancel the issued ticket free of any charge, and they shall be given a new seat in the same accommodation or above than that which they have purchased, paying for the difference. Depending on the situation, the corresponding costs shall be paid based on the flexibility of the passenger's ticket. Open tickets, when the return date is not specified. Changing an OPEN ticket for a CLOSED ticket shall be considered as an advance of the departure ticket. Cancelling an issued OPEN ticket shall not entail any penalty whatsoever. OPEN issued tickets shall be valid for one year from the issue date. Its use shall be subject to prior reservation of a seat. In such cases, penalty for cancelling shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the applicable fare which, in some cases, may imply total loss of the ticket price.
