I entered the wrong email address in my check-in, what can I do?
If the ferry company that you are traveling with requires you to check-in before your departure and you have check-in with the wrong email you will not receive your electronic tickets. We advise that you enter your information carefully when checking in.
You can re-attempt to check-in with your correct email address, but if that does not work or the field is disabled, you will need to collect your physical tickets from the local partnering agency which you can find the information for in your My Trips page.

I forgot to add a discount to my booking, can I add it after?
Unfortunately once a booking is completed, we cannot add a discount code and refund the difference in price. If you are within the cancellation policy for a full refund, you will need to cancel your ticket and then re-book it with the correct discount selected.

I missed my ferry, what can I do?
If you know that you will be missing your ferry in advance, we suggest you go to your trips page and check to see if you can cancel your ticket or convert your ticket to open so that you can use the value of your ticket for a different trip.
If you do miss your ferry and still have your ticket, unfortunately you are not entitled to a refund after the departure time.

If you are traveling domestically, you will most probably not encounter any issue with a simple name misspell. If you have chosen a discount that requires proof of ID, and the name is misspelled entirely (ie. more that 2 or 3 characters are wrong), then we suggest you contact our customer support.
If you are traveling internationally (between countries), you will most likely not be allowed to board the ferry as you will have to go through border control and all your identity data must be exactly as they are stated in your identity documents. Please make sure you enter your information carefully and always double check your information before completing your booking.

We suggest you make a new booking with the person that you missed from your original booking.
Please keep in mind that if you have chosen numbered seats, the person in the new booking will not be seated with you as numbered seats are issued upon booking. If you wish to be seated all together, we suggest you cancel your original booking and then make a new one with passengers together.

I cancelled my ticket, but I now changed my mind
Unfortunately, cancelling a ticket is a non-reversible action. This means that once you cancel your ticket and your refund method is issued, you will not be able to undo the cancellation.
In this case suggest that you create a new booking, and if you already have an account with Openferry, your passenger information will already be saved so that you will not have to put the information in again!
